My yoga journey began in 2011 after my first child was born. Juggling a full-time job teaching elementary school and the demands of motherhood, I sought a fitness regimen to nurture my postpartum body.Yoga helped me move, connect, and strengthen my body in a way that made me feel refreshed and loved.
Following the birth of my second child, a quest for holistic well-being unfolded. Delving into nutrition and METTA meditation, I aimed to cultivate a balanced lifestyle, sustaining vitality to match the energy of my growing family. As my mat practice flourished, so did the balance in my life.
Eager to deepen my understanding of the human body, I immersed myself in the Twist Yoga training program in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Under the guidance of esteemed mentors like Sarah Ivanhoe, Allison Matt, and Cynthia Pedraza, I absorbed the wisdom of yoga, anatomy, and philosophy.
Beyond the mat, I revel in nature's embrace, whether hiking, snowboarding, paddleboarding, or swimming. Each venture mirrors the dynamic harmony I seek on the mat—a continual dance of strength, balance, and joy. My yoga journey extends beyond the studio, weaving seamlessly into the vibrant fabric of my life.
